Point Arena Lighthouse was first constructed in 1870, and was rebuilt after the 1906 earthquake. Rebuilt to specifications designed to survive earthquakes, Point Arena Light was the first built with reinforced concrete. It is the tallest lighthouse on the west coast. For a small fee, visitors may climb to the top.
